WWA Worlds, Day 1

First day of the WWA Worlds saw SA Daniella seated second for the finals for Amateur Womens.

Parker and Oliver unfortunately got the same heat with only 1 making through to finals and Parker managed to come out on top.

Also to make it through to finals yesterday were Toni Iaconni, Cory Teunissen in Jnr Boys and Ryleigh Pfitzner came first in his heat in Jnr Pro Men. Brad Teunissen and Reece Jordan unfortunately had a few falls in their pass' and didn't make it through to finals. Dylan Prideaux took 3 falls on couple of his consistent tricks and didnt quite advance.

Dang it's been busy since the last time I've updated my blog! Haven't been around home much.. Managed to put 50 hours on the new Naut since we got it.. but a lot of my time has been used up with travelling.

Went to Sydney for Brostock which i thought was going to be a weekend ended up staying at Black Diamond for the week then drove down to Murray Bridge for SA State Titles then off to Adelaide with the family to see ACDC. After an eventful 2 weeks got to chill at home for a week before heading off to Bundalong for a girls coaching weekend with the Roylance's.

Thought it was about time to update my blog, hasn't been done for a while cos not much has been happening with me lately.... UNTILL NOW!

The new boat has finally arrived! 2010, 210 Nautique now has an official home in the Gange family :) and we couldn't be more happier! The best boat I have ever had the privilege to touch or infact even to own :D Graphics, wake, linc system, everything is perfect :D

Also the weekend that just passed was wake wars :) another epic weekend down at Glenelg, Adelaide on the Pat, mint conditions! Smooth water, no wind, 45degree heat, Monster helping out couldn't have had much of a better weekend. Hayley won the females with amber in second and me 3rd. Harley won the mens, Dean second and Austin third.

Back down under winching

So Tris and me are back in AUS now, hanging out in my home town Mildura. We have an amazing river here and is allways smooth but we are still waiting for our boat to arrive. The last two days has been raining so dad, tris and me used this to our advantage cos we haven't had rain for years. We got the home made winch out and found some drain water, chucked a couch in had some muddy fun :D

On Thursday the weather was pretty shitty in the afternoon so Hayley, Chad, Tris, Bryan(camper) and me headed out to McCormicks cable park to do some circles :D Was the last ride for us Aussies has Hayley left today and Tris and me are leaving Wednesday. Thought I would share some happy shredders photos :D

I'm in Miami Bitch!

During the time Mum and Tris were here we headed to Miami for a weekend. After a four hour drive and a $15 toll we made it to Miami. First thing we do is spend half an hour driving around trying to find a Motel, ended up staying in one for $50 a night, dodgest motel ever, in the heart of South Beach. We had some food and a beer to relax, within 5mins of eating, a crazy storm hit Miami, lightning going off every where but like in Orlando it stoped after 15mins so we headed to the beach to check it out, but happen to walk right in a section that had gay males, ha epic! and thats only the first day, way too much shit happens with the ganges haha, just chucked up a few pictures aswel :D but all in all was a awsome trip :D

Fun in the Sun

On the 7th of October my mum, Maggie and my brother Tristan came over for a visit. I've done more touristy things in the last week then I have in the last 6 months.
It started with them arriving on the Wednesday night at midnight, after taking them to their first American meal at wendy's, English let us stay at his house for the night and picked up our rental car in the morning.
Next day we done a tour of I-Drive, done some mini golf and patted an Alligator.
The last week has consisted of 4 different shopping malls, lots of take away food, cable park, my birthday, tu tu tango, Busch gardens, bowling, wall mart at 1am on Saturday night, tiki bar, vans skate park, go karting, basketball and still to come is Miami, NY, and a shooting range :D good times ahead :D

Snow

Ahh the snow, where I would be if I didn't choose wakeboarding as my life. Just recently my brother Tristan went to Falls Creek in Australia to live and work there for a month. After him stealing my snow goggles and heard many stories of his time started to feel a bit jealous, so thought I would post up some photos of his trip. We usually head up to the snow every year for a week as it is a 10 hour drive to get there. I haven't been for the last two years as I travel to Orlando in our winter but my parents went up there for a couple of days aswel and actually gave snowboarding a try, i've heard a lot of complaining of the bruises and sore muscles. It looked a lot of fun but now it's back to the warm weather and the smooth waters :D Will be seeing mum and Tris soon as they are coming over next week woot woot :D Nice photography mum. Crow Mobe

I think the heading gives it away haha. Haven't been trying this trick for long but was getting real close just before I headed over to Korea for worlds. After heading back to Orlando I got to head out on Lake Holden to ride with good mate Lachlan Burgess (which if you head to wakeplace.com will see him do a sick heelside indy backside 5). Having a huge wake behind Dallas' VLX (thank you :D) third try I stuck my first ever mobe :D We managed to get a sequence shot. Thanks Lachie for driving, Kris for taking the photos and Dallas for her insane wake :D

Wake Girls

A little while ago I had the privilage to get up as the sun rose above the beautiful Lake Minneola in Clermont at the wakeboard camp and done some shooting with fellow Australian rippers Amber and Hayley for wakegirls.com. Was good fun with some chase boat action, thanks to the guys from wakegirls to come out and film :D

Hey what's up my name is Rebecca Gange but everyone calls me Bec.
Im pretty new to the whole blogging epidemic ha so will just start off by telling you bit about myself.
I live in Mildura, Australia but I travel to Orlando 6 months of the year for wakeboarding. Love the sport and pretty much made it my life and hopefully will be able to continue it for a long time, aslong as the funds and body keep up :D
Well that's pretty much the basic form of my life. Just a huge shout out to my family and my sponsors, Jetpilot, Liquid Force, Oakley, Nautiques and Atlas Sheds.
